Hull found in 2003
GRP Duck hunting boat of unknown vintage and moulding. Reconstructed by owner.

Rebuild hull 2007
Larch sheer strake, mahogany stained. Pine half deck planking. White lapstrake. Varnished sheer strake and deck planking. Wheel steering.

Testing the engine layout

Engine is constructed by owner. Four turned columns. 300 rpm. Approx 0.5 HP at 70 % cut off. Chain connection to propeller shaft.

Boiler is bought from S &oslasren Krog THOR

First trial at Ribe Aa
3 blades. 270 x 310 mm. (approx 10 ½” x 12 1/4”) 670 rpm. 16 mm (approx 5/8 “) stainless steel shaft. Resulting boat speed approx 4.3 kn.
