In l987 I built a model steam launch "Patricia".
My model is from a Krick kit (German). It is 36" long and has a butane fueled boiler heater and two cylinder engine. It is radio controlled and runs about l5-l8 minutes on 8 ounces of water. Two and one/half pounds of lead shot is in the ballast. The RPM is 900-1000.
The model his highly detailed and the deck is teak planking. The only addition has been a whistle. It is activated by a hard left turn, but looses much pressure.
